Happy Luck
Just now landed in London’s Heathrow Airport, probably my favourite airport in the whole world. Despite a few close calls (I was here during the 2006 terrorist raid), I always love coming back to this airport. It’s one of the few times crowds please me, or delays; I love wandering through the shops and terminals, navigating the endless hallways and taking note of everything on hand. This morning I sat with a Dutch family, a French couple and a British man sharing random points of interest about Ireland (my final destination, and a point of interest in all of their lives). Amazing how stepping out of your normal routine invites everybody inside your heart and head. I’ve been lucky to have a lot of international interactions lately, and this was an amazing continuation of that happiness. The perfect headspace to begin travelling with….
Okay, have to catch a flight.
